Chuck & Don’s 19th Minnesota location is open for business in Edina! We’re located just east of Southdale Center in the Yorkdale Shoppes across from Cub Foods at 6821 York Avenue South. Store Hours are Monday thru Friday 9am – 9pm, Saturday 9am – 6pm and Sunday 11am – 6pm.

It’s spring, time for things to grow and blossom, and that’s exactly what’s going on in our Colorado community!

A new store in Aurora will be opening on May 7, 2012. We are very excited about this and delighted to offer the Aurora pet community the same high quality pet products and individualized customer service upon which we have built our reputation. Stay tuned for details, we’re looking forward to having you and your pet(s) stop by, say ‘hello’ and check us out!

Also on May 7 Abby’s Pet Place will be opening. This is a community resource which provides a variety of educational, social and wellness opportunities for all pets and pet owners. The focus will be on the role dogs play in our lives, and Abby’s Pet Place will strive to bridge the human animal connection.  Partnered with rescue organizations, humane societies, The University of Denver Institute for Human Animal Connection, vets, chiropractors and therapy certification organizations, Abby’s Pet Place is THE resource to have all your pet-related questions answered.

The new store is located in the city of Centennial at 2253 Briarwood Avenue, Suite 502  in The Streets at SouthGlenn Shopping Center. You will find more information and directions here.

We recently opened a store in Blaine and we will be opening a store in Northeast Minneapolis in just a couple days – on June 23^rd.

The Minneapolis-Northeast is located at 335 Central Avenue SE, at the corner of Central Avenue and 4^th Street, with convenient parking in the Lund’s lot.

We are happy to serve the pets and their people in both these communities with our trademark one-of-a-kind customer service.

Mark your calendars for Saturday July 23, which is the Grand Opening for both the Blaine and Minneapolis-Northeast stores.  We are planning a full day of festivities. Patrick Nau Photography will be at the Blaine store from 9am-12pm and at the NE Minneapolis store from 1-4pm giving away a FREE 4”x6” portrait. Both stores will also have a pet Look-A-Like contest, a dog kissing booth and dog pools. In addition, both stores will also have a drawing for a $100 Chuck & Don’s gift card – you just might be the winner!

Additional events at our Blaine store includes The Wildcat Sanctuary from 12-3pm  and  MN Pitbull Rescue from 11am-2pm.

Stop by our NE Minneapolis Store between 9am-12pm to meet RAGOM (Retrieve A Golden of Minnesota) and the Minneapolis Animal Care and Control will answer questions and sell pet licenses between 11am-2pm.

We have heard you on Facebook, Twitter, our We Make Pets Happy Blog and in person in our stores. Our customers are speaking out, and we are listening! What we’re hearing is that you would like additional Chuck & Don’s stores.

We’re happy to announce that we will soon be opening two additional stores – one in Minnesota and the other in Colorado.  Northeast Minneapolis is the site for our newest store in Minnesota.   Located at 335 Central Avenue SE at the corner of Central Avenue and 4^th Street (next to the Lund’s parking lot) this store will open by July 1.  In Colorado, we continue our development plans for our second store in the Centennial-SouthGlenn area.  Stay tuned for an update on the opening date for this location.

We’re looking forward to being the ‘new kid on the block’ in these neighborhoods.  We’ll continue our commitment to making pets happy by bringing the same premium pet food, products, expertise and customer service to these communities.

According to Sidewalk Dog “It seems you can’t swing a Chuckit in this town without hitting a Chuck & Don’s Pet Food Outlet—they’re everywhere.”

We’re not quite “everywhere” but we are expanding!  In response to customer demand, we are happy to announce that two new Minnesota Chuck & Don’s stores will open within the next few months – one in Blaine and one in Northeast Minneapolis.  Locations for these new stores are:

• Blaine – 4255 Pheasant Ridge Drive, Suite 304 (in the Village of Blaine Shopping Center)
• Northeast Minneapolis – 335 Central Avenue Southeast (corner of Central Avenue and 4^th Street (next to the Lund’s parking ramp)

We are very passionate about pets and are looking forward to becoming active with the pet community in Blaine and Northeast Minneapolis.

Our second site in Colorado, located in the Centennial-South Glen area is also scheduled to open by July 1.
