Most pet owners know that poinsettias are poisonous for pets.  But, they may not know that there are many other plants we use for common holiday decorations that can be harmful to their pets.  Some of these plants include:

  • Holly
  • Mistletoe
  • Lillies
  • Christmas Trees

Signs your animal companion might be suffering from potential plant poisoning include vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and sometimes excessive drooling.  If your pet exhibits any of these symptoms, contact your vet or emergency vet immediately.
